You can do your grocery shopping at Kiwi or Rema 1000, both of which are within walking distance. Amfi Drøbak is also nearby with approx. 40 shops. The shopping streets in Drøbak have, among other things, great fashion boutiques, galleries, a liquor store, a bank, a post office and several restaurants. It is a short distance to a football pitch and an ice rink, and in the vicinity there is also a fitness centre, swimming pool and riding centre.

According to the municipality, Drøbak is a summer town in the summer and a Christmas town in the winter. The centre has small, cosy streets with pleasant shops, galleries, a cinema, a liquor store and restaurants. It is a short distance to nice hiking and recreational areas in Seierstensmarka, here there is also prepared light trail for cross-country skiing in winter. Drøbak golf course with its 18 holes is located on Belsjø and is open from May to October.

In the center you will find the popular Badeparken, with several sandy beaches, diving boards, rocky cliffs and a beautiful lawn. The place extends 650 meters north from Drøbak marina and has sun all day. Nice walkways at every corner make it easy to get around. There are many benches and places to sit down. The area has a playground for children with swings and slides. There is also several other nice swimming spots nearby.

Drøbak has very good bus connections to Ås, Ski and Oslo. During rush hour there is a bus from Drøbak to Oslo approx. every ten minutes. In the summer there is also a ferry to Oslo and Son, with stops at Oscarsborg and several of the other islands in the Oslofjord.
