Breisynveien 18 was designed by the well-known Trondheim architect Sverre Clausen, who is also one of the architects behind the Royal Garden in Trondheim. The house was built in several stages from approximately 1970, Clausen was promoted to first professor after a committee from the then NTH had assessed the house.
